Alfredo Pedraza, new player for Vietnamese side Ninh Binh FC, reflects on his successful time at CE Sabadell and discusses his goals for this new chapter
1. After an excellent season with CE Sabadell, capped off with promotion, you’ve decided to leave the club for your first experience away from home. What will you take away from your time in Sabadell?
All the experiences I’ve had, the people that make up the club, the fans, and most of all, my group of friends.
2. Another year in Segunda RFEF with valuable playing time. How has this division helped you grow as a player?
It’s taught me that there are no easy opponents, that any team can make things difficult for you, and it’s made me value every victory even more.
3. This will be your first time playing abroad after many seasons in professional football. What motivated you to make this move at the age of 24?
I feel ready to make the leap to professional football and to take on a completely new experience abroad. I’m really excited and eager for what’s to come.
4. You’re joining Ninh Binh FC, a newly promoted team in the V.League 1. What are your expectations for the 2025–26 season?
I hope I can adapt quickly to the climate, bring my personality and playing style, and show all the potential I have in such a demanding competition like the V.League 1.
5. What do you think you can bring to the team from the city of Ninh Binh?
A lot of personality, leadership, and above all, a huge desire to grow and develop within professional football.
6. New culture, new teammates, and a new league. What goals are you setting for yourself?
My main goal is to adapt quickly, push myself to the limit every day, and most importantly, enjoy the culture and the city—which I already love.
