Víctor Morales, the new player of Vietnamese side Ninh Binh FC, reflects on his long spell at Terrassa FC and shares his goals for this new chapter abroad
1. After four seasons and over 130 games with Terrassa FC, the time has come to leave the club. What do you take away from this experience and this stage of your life?
There are many moments and anecdotes I could mention, but above all, I want to highlight the day-to-day experience. I’ve truly enjoyed every step of the way, from the first day to the last, and it has been a real privilege for me to play for this club over the past four years. During this time, I’ve grown a lot both as a player and as a person, and I take many positive memories with me from Terrassa FC and its people.
2. Four years of experience in the Spanish 2ª RFEF – what do you think this journey has brought you from a sporting perspective?
Over these four years, I’ve given my best as a player and I think I’ve grown in many aspects. Playing for a historic club like Terrassa is a privilege, but it also comes with great responsibility. The level of demand has always been very high, and I believe that during this time I’ve matured a lot and developed a strong competitive mindset that has helped me become a better player.
3. First experience abroad after more than 10 seasons in professional football. What led you to make this decision at the age of 28?
This is a great opportunity both personally and professionally. A lot of things came together, and it arrived at a moment in my life where I feel ready to take on this experience. I’m approaching it with a lot of enthusiasm and I want to enjoy it and make the most of it.
4. You’re joining Ninh Binh FC, a newly promoted team in V. League 1. What are your expectations for the 2025–26 season?
I expect the same as I have in recent years. I feel lucky to be able to do what I love every day – play football. So I want to keep playing with the same passion and ambition as always. And, of course, I want to continue growing as a player. Playing for Ninh Binh FC is a beautiful challenge for me, and I just want to do my best, contribute as much as I can, and help the team. I’m approaching this with maximum ambition and excitement, and I’ll give everything I have to make it a success.
5. New culture, new teammates, and a new league. What are your goals?
I don’t want to set specific goals or targets. I just want to keep playing, improving, and learning every single day. That’s always been my mindset, and I’m not going to change it now. I want to enjoy the process. So far, that approach has worked well for me, and I think it’s important to stay focused on that path – especially because, for me, the mental side of the game is fundamental.
